A rematch for theONE Women's Strawweight Muay thai World Championship between current championSmilla Sundell andJackie Buntan was expected to take place at the event.[10] The pair previously faced each other in April 2022 atONE 156, which Sundell won the title by decision unanimous.[11] However, Buntan pulled out from the bout due to family matters.[12] She was replaced by currentONE Women's Atomweight Muay Thai championAllycia Rodrigues.[13]
