Oña is a municipality and town located in theprovince of Burgos,Castile and León,Spain. According to the 2011census (INE), the municipality has a population of 1,219 inhabitants.
In the Middle Ages, Oña had aJewish community that built asynagogue in 1405. Following theExpulsion of Jews from Spain 1492, the building was transferred to the local monastery.[2]
