Nutcracker fracture refers to the comminuted fracture of thecuboid bone of the foot.[1][2][3] If treated improperly, it can lead to lateral column shortening and significant pain.[4] Nutcracker fracture is rare because of the relatively protected position of cuboid in the midfoot.[5]
