TheNureongi (Korean누렁이;lit. Nu-reong-i, "yellow one"[1]), also known as theKorean Edible Dog.,Korean Yellow Spitz orHwanggu (황구;黃狗,Hwang-gu, "yellow dog"), is a common,spitz-typedog with yellowish coloring endemic to theKorean peninsula.[2][1]

It is the primary dog-breed raised in Korea formeat.[1][3]
