Noviflumuron is aninsecticide of thebenzoylurea class. It is aninsect growth regulator that prevents juvenile termites from developing into adults by disrupting the synthesis ofchitin, the main component of an insect's exoskeleton.[1]
Noviflumuron is primarily used in termite bait products such asSentricon.[2][3]
