Northwood Lake is a 653-acre (2.64 km2)[1] water body located inRockingham andMerrimack counties in centralNew Hampshire, United States, in the towns ofNorthwood andEpsom. The town ofDeerfield occupies part of the southern shore. The outlet of the lake is theLittle Suncook River, flowing west to theSuncook River, a tributary of theMerrimack River.
The lake is classified as a warmwater fishery, with observed species includingsmallmouth andlargemouth bass,chain pickerel, andbrown bullhead, andwhite perch.[2]
Milfoil is present in the lake.[3]
