Chemical compound

Normetanephrine, also callednormetadrenaline,[1] is a metabolite ofnorepinephrine created by action ofcatechol-O-methyl transferase on norepinephrine. It is excreted in the urine and found in certain tissues. It is a marker forcatecholamine-secretingtumors such aspheochromocytoma.
