Norma Minkowitz (born 1937, New York City) is an American visual artist, known forfiber art.[1][2][3] She is known for hercrochet sculptures.[3]

She attendedCooper Union.[3] In 2003, she became fellow of theAmerican Craft Council.[4] In 2009, she received theMaster of the Medium Award from theJames Renwick Alliance.[5]

Her work is in theDenver Art Museum,[6] theMetropolitan Museum of Art,[7] theMinneapolis Institute of Art,[8] and theMuseum of Fine Arts Boston.[9] Her piece,Goodbye, My Friend, was acquired by theSmithsonian American Art Museum as part of theRenwick Gallery's 50th Anniversary Campaign.[10][11]
