Noah Hegge (born 15 March 1999) is a Germanslalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2016.[5] Hegge competes in K1 and kayak cross.[6]

He competed at the2024 Summer Olympics inParis where he won a bronze medal inkayak cross and finished 9th in theK1 event.

Hegge won a gold medal in the K1 team event at the2022 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships inAugsburg. He also won one gold and one bronze medal in the K1 team event at theEuropean Championships.

He has won three medals in the K1 team event at theJunior and U23 World Championships, with a gold in2017, a silver in2016 (both junior), and a bronze in2021 (U23).[7] Hegge is also a two-time European Champion in K1 team, winning gold at both the2020 U23 European Championships inKraków and2016 Junior European Championships inSolkan.[6] He finished 11th in the overallWorld Cup standings in2021.[8] Hegge earned his best senior World Championship result of 6th at the2021 event, where Germany fielded all three athletes in the final for the first time since1995.[9]

Hegge began paddling with Kanu Schwaben Augsburg in 2007, following his older brothers into the sport.[10][4] In 2018 he finished his apprenticeship as a pastry chef, and was accepted into theSportfördergruppe der Bundeswehr [de], allowing him to commit to his slalom career.[2][1]

He lives and trains inAugsburg, home of theEiskanal.[11]
