No. 50 Group RAF is a formerRoyal Air Force Traininggroup that was operational from 1 February 1939, throughout theSecond World War until 31 May 1947 withinRAF Reserve Command.[1]

No. 51 (Training) Group RAF

No. 51 (Training) Group RAF was formed on 11 May 1939 in Reserve Command atRAF Hendon controlling Elementary and Reserve Flying Training Schools. On 27 May 1940 it was moved toRAF Flying Training Command. It was disbanded on 14 July 1945 and absorbed into No. 50 Group RAF.[1]
