Within theframework of administrative divisions, theurban-type settlement of Nizhnyaya Maktama is subordinated toAlmetyevsky District.[1] As amunicipal division, Nizhnyaya Maktama, together with onerural locality (theselo ofTikhonovka), is incorporated within Almetyevsky Municipal District asNizhnyaya Maktama Urban Settlement.[3]
