Nitro Motorsports is an American professionalauto racing team that currently competes in theARCA Menards Series and theTrans-Am Series with the Trans-Am TA2 class. The team bought and operates the remains ofVenturini Motorsports, in which they also operate from their former race shop inConcord, North Carolina.
Nitro Motorsports was formed byNick Tucker andJoe Tovo. Tucker, a former NASCAR driver in theNASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and theARCA Menards Series. Tucker founded the racing team in 2016 as Nitro Kart, where it would become one of the most successful karting brands in North America and in theTrans-Am Series in the Ta2 class in 2021 winning the 2023 and 2024 championships withBrent Crews andRaphael Matos respectively. On November 27, 2024, the team announced they would collaborate withVenturini Motorsports to be in theARCA Menards Series for2025.[1]
On April 18, 2025, it was announced thatVenturini Motorsports would be sold to the team after the 2025 season.[2]
On January 7, 2025, it was announced thatThad Moffitt will drive the No. 46 car full-time.[3] After six races, Moffitt was reduced to part-time due to a sponsor withdrawal.[4]

On January 9, 2025, it was announced thatAmber Balcaen will drive the No. 70 car part-time.[5] The team signedTreyten Lapcevich to a one-race deal atBerlin Raceway afterThad Moffitt was reduced to part-time.[1] Lapcevich ended up winning the team’s first ARCA pole and win in his appearance.[4] ForLime Rock Park, the team signedThomas Annunziata, where he would earn the team's second pole and also earned the team's second win.[6]
