Nitinat River is a river[1] on the west coast ofVancouver Island in theCanadian province ofBritish Columbia. Its source is in theVancouver Island Ranges at McKinlay Peak.[2] It travels in a south-west direction from its source until it meetsNitinat Lake at thePacific Ocean.
Along the river's course there is aprovincial park calledNitinat River Provincial Park and afish hatchery called Nitinat Hatchery.[3][4]
