Nikolas Martin Myroniuk (born July 21, 2005) is a Canadiansoccer player who plays forCavalry FC in theCanadian Premier League.
Myroniuk began playing soccer at age six withCalgary South West United SC.[1] He later played with Calgary Blizzard SC, before joining theVancouver Whitecaps Alberta Academy Centre.[2] He also played for the Alberta provincial team at U14 and U15 level.[3] In August 2020, he joined the officialVancouver Whitecaps Academy.[2] In 2022, he returned to Alberta and played with theCavalry FC U20 and also represented Alberta at the2022 Canada Summer Games, winning a bronze medal.[4][5]
In 2023, Myroniuk began attendingMount Royal University, where he played for themen's soccer team.[6] On September 9, 2023, he scored his first goal in a victory over theMacEwan Griffins.[7] In late September, he was named the school's Athlete of the Week after netting a brace.[8] At the end of the season, he was named to theCanada West All-Rookie Team.[9]
In September 2022, he joinedCavalry FC of theCanadian Premier League on a developmental contract.[10] He signed another developmental contract in April 2023.[11] He made his debut on April 20 in a2023 Canadian Championship match againstPacific FC.[12] During 2023, he spent time withCavalry U21 side in the exhibition series ofLeague1 Alberta.[13] In April 2024, he signed a U Sports contract with Cavalry, allowing him to maintain his university eligibility.[14] In January 2025, Myroniuk would sign a one year contract extension with Cavalry, with club options for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.[15] Myroniuk would score his first goal for the club in a 6-0 win in the2025 Canadian Championship againstLeague1 Alberta sideEdmonton Scottish.[16]
In December 2022 and December 2023, Myroniuk was called up to camps with theCanada national futsal team.[17][18]
