Nidhi Bisht (born 21 October 1985) is an Indian actress, filmmaker and lawyer. She is one of the earliest members ofThe Viral Fever.[2][3] She worked with TVF (2013-2020) as a Creative Director and later as, Creative Head for Girliyapa (2017-2020).

Biography

Bisht studied at Delhi Police Public School[citation needed] and pursuedLLB fromJamia Millia Islamia.[1] After graduating, she began working at an IPR law firm.[3] She practiced law atDelhi High Court for a year.[4] In 2009 she gave up her job and decided to build a career in the entertainment arena. She acted in various plays like The City of Djinns, Chainpur ki Daastan, Shit Happens, Once upon a Tiger, Dirty Talk, Holi, Shakespeare, Who?, Ok Tata Bye Bye among others.[citation needed]

She joinedThe Viral Fever in 2013.[3] She is lone non IIT graduate in The Viral Fever.[3]

Bisht acted inChai Sutta Chronicles in 2013.[1] She acted inPermanent Roommates in 2014.[citation needed] She acted inUmrika in 2015.[3] She acted inPhillauri in 2017 with Anushka Sharma, Suraj Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh.[5] She acted inBisht, Please! in 2017, a show about the misadventures of a good girl that she wrote with Biswapati Sarkar and Devanshi S.[6] She acted inBachelors.[citation needed] She acted inKanika in 2018 which was a short film.[7] She also acted in web series likeTVF Tripling,ImMature andThe Making of….[8][9] Her filmDream Girl was released on 13 September 2019 and was a blockbuster hit.[10][11][12] Nidhi also played the role of Megha Astana in the TVF original web series 'Cubicles' which was released in December 2019.[13]

Bisht also involved in writing inPermanent Roommates (2016),PA-Gals (2017) andBisht, Please! (2017).[14] She also worked as director inPA-Gals.[15] She worked as casting director ofTVF Pitchers and assistant director ofPermanent Roommates.[14]
