Nico Parker (born 9 December 2004) is a British actress. The daughter of actressThandiwe Newton and filmmakerOl Parker , she made her film debut in a leading role in the fantasy filmDumbo (2019).[ 1] She playedSarah Miller in the first season of theHBO seriesThe Last of Us (2023) and Astrid Hofferson in the live-action fantasy filmHow to Train Your Dragon (2025).
Born inLondon , to film director and screenwriterOl Parker and actressThandiwe Newton , Parker is fromKensal Rise , North West London. She has an older sister,Ripley , and a younger brother, Booker.[ 2] Through her maternal grandmother, Nyasha, Parker claims descent from aZimbabwean line oftribal chiefs .[ 3]
Nico Parker made her film debut as Milly Farrier in the 2019 filmDumbo , directed byTim Burton .
