Nicholas Salos of Pskov (Russian:Николай Салос) was a Russian self-styled prophet ("Fool-for-Christ") in opposition ofTsarIvan IV'soprichnina. In 1570, Ivan IV retaliated by raidingPskov. However, during the raid Nicholas reprimanded the tsar, causing him to retreat his force toAlexandrov. He is regarded as asaint in theEastern Orthodox Church.
