Nicarete orNicareta ofMegara (Ancient Greek:Νικαρέτη,Nikarétē) was aphilosopher of theMegarian school, who flourished around300 BC. She is stated byAthenaeus to have been ahetaera of good family and education, and to have been a disciple ofStilpo.[1]Diogenes Laërtius states that she was Stilpo'smistress, though he had awife.[2]
