Nganjuk Regency (Javanese: ꦏꦧꦸꦥꦠꦺꦤ꧀ꦔꦚ꧀ꦗꦸꦏ꧀) is aregency(kabupaten) ofEast Java Province,Indonesia. It bordersBojonegoro Regency in the north,Jombang Regency in the east,Kediri Regency in the south andMadiun Regency in the west. It covers an area of 1,288.91 sq. km, and had a population of 1,017,030 at the 2010 Census[3] and 1,103,902 at the 2020 Census;[4] the official estimate as at mid 2024 was 1,148,611 (comprising 577,609 males and 571,002 females).[2] The administrative centre of the regency is the town ofNganjuk. The current regent is Dr. Drs. H. Marhaen Djumadi, S.E., S.H., M.M., M.B.A.
The Regency is divided into twentydistricts (kecamatan), tabulated below with their areas and their population totals from the 2010 Census[3] and the 2020 Census,[4] together with the official estimates as at mid 2024.[2] The table also includes the location of the district headquarters and the number ofadministrative villages and subdistricts in each district (totaling 264 ruraldesa and 20 urbankelurahan), and its postcodes.
