Ngườm is anarchaeological site inThái Nguyên Province, northernVietnam. It is arock shelter in alimestone cliff near theThần Sa River that was excavated in 1981 by archaeologists from theVietnam Institute of Archaeology.Flaked stoneartefacts have been found in deposits containing shells withradiocarbon ages of 23,000 years ago.[1] The site is important because of its unusually high proportion ofretouched flakes in the stone artefact assemblage, relative to other sites in Southeast Asia.[2]
