TheNew Zealand men's national field hockey team, also known as theBlack Sticks Men,[3] is the national team for men'sfield hockey ofNew Zealand, under theNew Zealand Hockey Federation.

At the1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, they upsetAustralia to win gold, becoming the first non-Asian/European team to clinch the gold medal. They have also won silver and bronze at the2002 and2010 Commonwealth Games.
