TheNew Orleans Privateers men's basketball team represents theUniversity of New Orleans inNew Orleans,Louisiana, United States. The school's team currently competes as a member of theSouthland Conference. They are currently led by head coachStacy Hollowell and play their home games atLakefront Arena.

Of the 13 head coaches in the history of UNO basketball, four of them are nativeHoosiers:Ron Greene (1969-1976),Don Smith (1979-1985),Monte Towe (2001-2006) andMark Slessinger (2011–2024)
