New England Revolution II is aprofessional soccer club based in theGreater Boston area that competes inMLS Next Pro, the third division ofAmerican soccer. The team is owned by, and operates as the reserve team of theMajor League Soccer clubNew England Revolution. The team plays atGillette Stadium. The team was announced as a member of League One on October 9, 2019.[1][2]

On February 8, 2024, the team announced that eight of their 14 home games would be played at Mark A Ouellette Stadium inHooksett, New Hampshire.[3]

History

On October 9, 2019, theNew England Revolution announced the formation of a reserve team inUSL League One that would begin play in the 2020 season and that they would play atGillette Stadium inFoxborough.[4] On November 25, 2019, the club announced its first manager,Clint Peay.[5]

MLS Next Pro

The club announced on December 6, 2021, that it was joining the inaugural 21-teamMLS Next Pro season starting in 2022.[6]
