Neuville-Coppegueule (French pronunciation:[nøvilkɔpɡœl]) is acommune in theSommedepartment inHauts-de-France in northernFrance.
The commune is situated on the D1015 road, some 25 miles (40 km) west ofAmiens, near the banks of the riverBresle on the border withSeine-Maritime.
The name comes from the French nickname for highwaymen from the forest ofArgueil who operated on theBeauvais -Eu road.
