Carmine Colucci Neto (born 29 May 1975), known asNeto Colucci, is a Brazilianfootball andfutsalcoach, and former futsal player. He is the current head coach ofVolta Redonda's under-20 team.

Career

[edit]

Born inVassouras,Rio de Janeiro, Colucci playedfutsal professionally for Piraí, Mendes and Vassouras before joiningFluminense's futsal side for the 2003 season; as the regulation at the time only allowed him to play in the Copa Rio Sul de Futsal as a manager, he switched to his new role.[1]

Colucci subsequently worked as manager of futsal sidesVasco da Gama, Vassouras (where he won four consecutive Copa Rio Sul de Futsal titles), Piraí and Mendes.[1] In May 2015, he switched tofootball and was appointed manager ofVolta Redonda's under-20 squad.[2]

Colucci returned to play for Mendes in the 2017 season,[1] while still working for Volta Redonda. In January 2018, he was named manager of futsal side Paulo de Frontin, also sharing roles with hisVoltaço job.[3]

In May 2018, Colucci was appointed at the helm ofPérolas Negras in theCampeonato Carioca Série B2.[4] He subsequently returned to Volta Redonda and their under-20 squad, and also submitted a candidacy to the club's presidency late in the year; he later withdrew his candidacy.[5]

Colucci was promoted to the assistant manager role atVoltaço's first team squad in January 2020.[6] He left the club in September to take overBotafogo's under-17 squad,[7] but returned to his previous club on 27 October as manager of the main squad in theSérie C.[8]

On 28 February 2022, Colucci was sacked byVoltaço.[9] He returned to Pérolas Negras on 1 August,[10] and led the club to the second place in theCampeonato Carioca Série B1 before leaving.

In December 2023, Colucci agreed to return to the futsal side of Vassouras, but the deal collapsed in February.[11] In January 2025, he returned to Paulo de Frontin,[12] before subsequently returning to Volta Redonda; initially in charge of the under-17 team, he later coached the under-20s before becoming an interim head coach of the main squad on 12 November.[13]
