They missed the1956 Summer Olympics inMelbourne,Victoria, Australia but returned for the1960 Summer Olympics inRome, Italy and established themselves as a regular competitor at the Olympics thereafter. They appeared at every subsequent games except the1980 Summer Olympics inMoscow,Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, Soviet Union after taking part in theUnited States-led boycott. The1992 Summer Olympics inBarcelona, Spain marked their ninth Olympic appearance.[1]
