Nephropoidea is asuperfamily ofdecapodcrustaceans. It contains the true lobsters in theNephropidae (including the rarethaumastochelid lobsters), and three fossil families:Chilenophoberidae,Protastacidae andStenochiridae.[1] Their closest relatives are thereef lobsters.[1]
