Neomixis is agenus of small forest birds that areendemic toMadagascar.
The genus was introduced by the English zoologistRichard Bowdler Sharpe in 1881. Thetype species is thestripe-throated jery (Neomixis striatigula).[2] The genus was formerly placed in theOld World babbler family but is now considered to belong to the familyCisticolidae.
