Chemical compound

Neodymium dihydride is an inorganic compound, with the chemical formula of NdH2, although it is anelectride, and it is actually composed of Nd3+(e)(H)2. It isferromagnetic.[1]

Chemical properties

[edit]

Neodymium dihydride reacts withlithium borohydride to obtain neodymium tetraboride:[2]

NdH2 + 4 LiBH4 → NdB4 + 4 LiH + 7 H2
