
TheNelson Mandela Bridges (French:Ponts Nelson-Mandela) are two twin bridges in France, spanning the riverSeine, betweenIvry-sur-Seine andCharenton-le-Pont, where the Seine and theMarne have theirconfluence. Initially they were both called the "pont de Conflans" ("Confluence Bridge"), but were renamed forNelson Mandela, the first democratically elected President of South Africa. They now form part of theD103 and theA4 autoroute.[1][2]
