Ponguru Narayana is the currentMLA of the constituency, having won the2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election fromTelugu Desam Party.[2] As of 2019, there are a total of 208,469 electors in the constituency.[3][needs update] The constituency was established in 2008, as per theDelimitation Orders (2008)[4]
