Nelliyampathy (also spelled asNelliampathi) is ahill station, located 60 kilometres (37 mi) fromPalakkad, state ofKerala, India.
A viewpoint called Seethargund is situated 8 km away from Nelliyampathy. Seethargund, according to beliefs is the place whereLord Rama,Laxmana andSeetha rested during their exile.
Another attraction of Nelliyampathy is theKesavanpara viewpoint. The filmMrigaya, starringMammootty, was shot here.[2][3]
