Neil Billingsley (born 1970)[1] is a financial consultant and formerchild actor. He was born inNew York City. His four siblings were also child actors, most notablyPeter Billingsley andMelissa Michaelsen.
In 1975, Neil began playing Danny Walton on the daytime soap operaSearch for Tomorrow. His role lasted several years. The role was taken over by Cain Devore and laterJohn Loprieno. Besides numerous roles in commercials, and guest shots on TV series likeFather Murphy,[2] Neil also starred in TV movies such asMillion Dollar Infield andShattered Innocence (which also featured sister Melissa andA Christmas Story'sMelinda Dillon).[3] During the third season ofThe All New Mickey Mouse Club, Neil played a character named Dave on the four episode serialJust Perfect. Following his acting career, Neil graduated fromArizona State University and entered the world of finance. Now using the last name Michaelsen, Neil has worked for TM Capital and for APS Financial Corporation. He currently is involved with Triple Tap Ventures inHouston, Texas, which operatesAlamo Drafthouse Theaters in Texas (El Paso, Lubbock, and Katy).
