Nazook,nazuk ornazouk, (ArmenianՆազուկ) is the name of a rolledArmenian pastry made fromflour,butter,sugar,sour cream,yeast,vanilla extract andeggs.

It is filled with a stuffing called khoriz (խորիզ), made out of butter, sugar and flour, whilenuts (walnuts) and fresh,candied, as well asdried fruits (mostlyplums,raisins,apricots,peaches, orberries) are often added to the filling as well. Nazook is sometimes referred to asgata.[1] There also is a variation wherelemon andcranberries are added to the filling,[2] and a variation where cinnamon becomes the main ingredient for the main filling, essentially turning nazook into a type ofcinnamon roll.[3]
