Naustathmus orNaustathmos (Ancient Greek:Ναύσταθμος) was a port-town on theEuxine, in the western part ofancient Pontus, on a salt lake connected with the sea, and 90stadia to the east of theHalys River.[1][2] TheTabula Peutingeriana calls itNautagmus. The AnonymousPeriplus places it only 40 stadia east of the mouth of the Halys.[3]
Its site is located inAsiatic Turkey.[4][5]
