Naulochon (Ancient Greek:Ναύλοχον), also known asPalaea Smyrna orPalaia Smyrna (Παλαιά Σμύρνη; meaning 'Old Smyrna'), was a port town ofancient Aeolis, and the originalAeolian settlement ofSmyrna.[1]
Its site is located inBayraklı,Asiatic Turkey.[1][2]
According to community website Pleiades, archaeological evidence from Naulochon dates back to the eleventh or tenth centuries B.C.[3]
