Early life

Cyrusi was born into aParsiZoroastrian family. She was born and raised inMumbai and did her schooling from The J.B. Vachha Girls High School and graduated from theJai Hind College with a degree in Business Management.[3][2]

Career

Nauheed first appeared in an advertisement for Dhara Refined Oil, while she was in school. Subsequently, she went on to appear in advertisements forHead & Shoulders,Britannia Little Hearts Biscuits, and Ayurvedic Concepts (now Himalaya).[2]

She also appeared in several music videos, most notably for the song "Piya Basanti".[1]

She made her debut in 2003 with Padam Kumar'sHindi film,Supari, starringUday Chopra. Subsequently,Vikram Bhatt chose her forInteha oppositeAshmit Patel. She then appeared in youth-oriented tele-seriesHip Hip Hurray.[2] In 2004, Cyrusi starred in theTelugu filmSakhiya withTarun Kumar.

She attended theIndia Fashion Week and the Allen Solly Fashion Show, along with fellow actressKoel Purie. In 2007, she appeared inLife Mein Kabhie Kabhiee,ADA...A Way of Life, andAnwar, which was directed byManish Jha, and alsoLakeer.

She featured inKisaan andKurbaan in 2009 andKuch Spice To Make It Meetha in 2012 withPurab Kohli and Kavish Mishra.

Personal life

She married Rustom Contractor on 5 January 2017.[4]
