National Road 6 (Polish:Droga krajowa 6, abbreviatedDK 6) is a route belonging to thePolish national roads network. The route is in the north ofPoland and runs from theGerman border, inKołbaskowo-Nadrensee, toŁęgowo for 351 km. The route runs through theWest Pomeranian Voivodeship and thePomeranian Voivodeship; it is important for transportation between the two largestagglomerations in northernPoland,Szczecin and theTricity.
The National Road 6 runs fromKołbaskowo and ends inŁęgowo, nearPruszcz Gdański, on theroundabout with theNational Road 91.
The routeKołbaskowo -Kijewo -Dąbie has the status of theA6 motorway. A part of the routeDąbie - Rzęśnica is also labelled as a motorway.[1]
A part of the route on the northernbypass,[2] Southern Słupsk Bypass and the western part of theTricity Beltway, Rzęśnica -Goleniów, the road has the status of anexpressway.[3] TheTricity Beltway and the southern Słupsk bypass is presented as theS6 Expressway, with the Rzęśnica–Goleniów route being part of theNational Road 3 andS3 Expressway.[4]
