The United StatesNational Water and Climate Center collects and disseminates water resources and climate data.[1]

It is part of theNatural Resources Conservation Service of theUnited States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The offices are located inPortland, Oregon, nearLloyd Center.[2]

Services include:

  • Operates theSNOTEL network which controls and collects data from more than 730 automatedsnowpack and climate sensor sites.
