TheNational University of Medical Sciences, commonly referred asNUMS, is apublic university located inRawalpindi,Punjab,Pakistan.[1][2]

Overview

TheNational University of Medical Sciences is recognized by theHigher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) for degree awarding status and accredited by thePakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) and theCollege of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) for undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training. It was established in 2015 and run by thePakistan Army Medical Corps. Previously, Army Medical College (which is a military-run medical institute)[3][4] was affiliated withNational University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan (NUST) but now it is aconstituent college of the university.
