TheIraqi National Security Council (INSC) (Arabic:مجلس الأمن الوطني العراقي) is the body in charge of coordinatingIraq'snational security,intelligence andforeign policy strategy. It was established in 2004.[1][2][3][4][5][6] It is also analogous to theRevolutionary Command Council that existed up until 2003.
The INSC is currently chaired byMohammed Shia' Al Sudani (who is alsoPrime Minister).
