National Highway 173 (NH 173), is anational highway in Indian state ofKarnataka.^[1] It originates inMudigere, travels throughVastare andSakharayapatna ofChikmagalur district,Hosadurga,Holalkere,Chikkajajur ofChitradurga district, it terminates atAnagoduonBengaluru - Pune Highway inDavanagere District.^[2] Road widening project has been kept in abeyance after just renumbering existing state highway to national highway by NHAI.^[3]
