Indian National Basketball Championship for Women is a professional basketball tournament inIndia for women. This tournament is held by theBasketball Federation of India.[1][needs update] 23 state teams have participated in this tournament.
At the 2019 event,Indian Railways team staved offKerala 68–55.[2] Led by the newnational team playerShireen Limaye, Railways won their third straight title.Madhya Pradesh also secured a rare podium finish by beatingPunjab in the bronze medal game.[2]
In the semifinals, Kerala ousted Punjab 73-62 while Railways absolutely decimatedMadhya Pradesh 106–37 to reach the finals.[2]
