Nathan Handley

New Zealand sailor

Nathan Handley (born 17 May 1973) is a New Zealandsailor who competed in theSummer Olympics.[1]

He representedNew Zealand at the 2000 Summer Olympics he competed in the49er withDan Slater, finishing in 8th place.[2] He won the 49er nationals for four consecutive years between 1997 and 2000.[3]

After the Olympics, Handley joinedTeam New Zealand as a mid-bowman.[4] He was part of the team's unsuccessful2003 America's Cup defence.

He later became a coach and was involved withPeter Burling andCarl Evans at the2008 Summer Olympics and withPolly Powrie andJo Aleh at the2016 Summer Olympics.[5][6][7]
