Nari (Kurdish:ناری,romanized: Narî; 1874-1944) is the pen name forMela Kake Heme, a Kurdish poet. He was born and died inMarivan. He had a close relationship toMahmud Barzanji,Taher Begi Jaf andQani.[1]
Nari wrote lyric and mystic poems inKurdish andPersian. The bulk of his poems are in the form ofghazal. He was mostly influenced byNalî andMahwi among Kurdish poets and byHafez among Persian poets.[2]
