Nancy Holmes

Canadian poet and educator (born 1959)

Nancy Holmes (born February 9, 1959) is aCanadianpoet andeducator.[1]

Biography

Holmes was born inEdmonton and went to high school inToronto. She then attended theUniversity of Calgary where she received herMA inEnglish.[2]

She has published four collections ofpoetry and manyshort stories. Her poetry andfiction have been published inA Room of One's Own,Lichen,The Malahat Review,Matrix,Prairie Fire,Grain,The Harpweaver, andThe Antigonish Review. Holmes is anassociate professor ofEnglish andCreative Writing at theUniversity of British Columbia Okanagan.[2][3]
