Namoi Shire was alocal government area in theNorth West Slopes region ofNew South Wales, Australia.

Namoi Shire was proclaimed on 7 March 1906.[1] Its offices were based in the town ofNarrabri.

In 1937, Namoi Shire absorbed theMunicipality of West Narrabri.[2]

TheLocal Government Areas Amalgamation Act 1980 saw the amalgamation of Namoi Shire with theMunicipality of Narrabri to formNarrabri Shire on 1 January 1981.[3]
