Walakada Appuhamilage Nalinda Wajiramal Jayatissa (known asNalinda Jayatissa born 21 April 1977) is aSri Lankan politician who serves as theMinister of Health and Mass Media,Chief Government Whip andCabinet Spokesperson of Sri Lanka since November 2024.[2][3] A member of theNational People's Power, he was elected to theParliament of Sri Lanka in2024 fromKalutara District. He was previously elected fromKalutara District in 2015 and lost at 2020 election. He is also a member of theJanatha Vimukthi Peramuna.[4][5][6][7]

He is qualified and has practised as a medical doctor.[8][9] Jayatissa was elected to theWestern Provincial Council from theJanatha Vimukthi Peramuna, serving two terms from 2009 to 2014 and from 2014 to 2019.
