Nabagram railway station is aKolkata Suburban Railway station on theHowrah–Bardhaman chord line operated byEastern Railway zone ofIndian Railways. It is situated besideNabagram-Moyna-Verili Road at Dattapur inPurba Bardhaman district in the Indian state ofWest Bengal.[1][2]
The Howrah–Bardhaman chord, the 95 kilometers railway line was constructed in 1917. It was connected withSealdah throughDankuni after construction ofVivekananda Setu in 1932.[3]Howrah toBardhaman chord line including Nabagram railway station was electrified in 1964–66.[4]
