Homeobox protein Nkx-2.3 is aprotein that in humans is encoded by theNKX2-3gene.[5][6][7]

NKX2C is a member of the NKX family ofhomeodomain-containingtranscription factors, which are implicated in many aspects of cell type specification and maintenance ofdifferentiated tissue functions.[7]
